We’d like to thank the academy. Wait, no: We’d like to thank NerdWallet and Newsweek, who honored us with these particular awards. Specifically, NerdWallet awarded Haven Life the designation of Best Same-Day Term Life Insurance as part of its Best Insurance Winners 2022 category. And Newsweek also named Haven Life to its list of America’s Best Customer Service 2022 recognitions for its life insurance category.
We’re humbled. Almost at a loss for words. Emphasis on almost. We didn’t write an acceptance speech, but we did want to speak to these awards and what they mean.

While NerdWallet and Newsweek each have their own award and ranking methodology, Haven Life stood out for its online-first approach, quick application process, high coverage limits and policy riders, including Haven Life Plus. This rider to the Haven Term policy provides policyholders with benefits beyond life insurance that help them live healthier, fuller and more protected lives–including access to trust and will creation resources, end-of-life planning documentation and digital fitness activities.
In particular, NerdWallet cited Haven Life’s first-class customer success team. For one, policyholders and applicants can contact us in multiple ways — on the phone, over email, even via live chat. What can we say? We’re seriously dedicated to our mission: Life insurance that’s actually simple (and, now, award-winning).
NerdWallet also mentioned the financial strength of MassMutual, our parent company, and that this indicates a solid ability to pay future claims. After all, that’s what life insurance is all about — trusting someone to be there for your loved ones in case the worst should happen.
